Light from the Darkness

These commemorations are based on Light from the Darkness, a new ritual of Holocaust remembrance developed for the Jewish community.

Light from the Darkness does the things the survivors have always asked of us: to tell the story, remember, and learn the lessons. This short and empowering guided experience is filled with song, story, ritual, and remembrance, drawing strength from darkness and turning it into action.

Using Light from the Darkness, we have developed commemorations that are geared toward church groups and other interfaith communities. Let us develop one for you.

Out of the Whirlwind

These pictures come from one version of this ritual, a prayer walk developed for the Christian community.
